“ Best bibingka in Cerritos are. Must try here and its always available not just holiday season. ”
“ Very good service. Very good food. The place is nice. Love to go back and dine in. The bibingka is super good! Love almost all their food! Employees are so cooperative and helpful. ”
“ Best bibinkang! Goto is our go to in our house hold. It's a little out of our way but we've had good experiences here. We've used them for catering for work events and people were high on it too. Usually it's well staffed and service is pretty speedy. It's a frequent stop for me and my family. ”
“ Whatever I ate was amazing. I loved it. I needed it. Comfort food. I'll definitely be back for more!!! ”
“ 9/1/23 First time here & I have to get bibingkang galapong-dont ask me to translate lol. *** 11/20/24 (I guess it's been sitting in my drafts all along) The food here is amazing! I can only comment on the foods that others have ordered for potlucks. I come here for bibingka mainly. You have to get the kind made with rice flour, it'll have that signature kind of taste and consistency. Trust me. Unfortunately today, grated coconut wasn't available due to supply issues. It's soft, a little chewy like mochi. It's one of my favorite Filipino treats, reminds me of good times in my childhood in the Philippines. They do catering, try their pancit malabon, lumpia (egg rolls) & other yummy foods. Parking is shared in a huge plaza by Ralph's, Amor y Tacos & others businesses. ”
“ First time here and it was busy for a Sunday afternoon. There was a long line however the line was for both ordering and also picking up orders placed ahead of time and there was only 1 cashier. They are part of Five Stars so they have perks if you have points accumulated. They had a few open tables and booths for eat in orders. Even though there were a lot of diners, it was relatively quiet inside. I actually only ordered the chicken BBQ sticks to take home along w/ a BBQ plate and Pancit Malabon to bring to my aunt and uncle. The Chicken BBQ sticks were yummy! ”
“ Everytime I am around Norwalk or Paramount, I make sure I will pass by Manila Sunset to order their goto, pancit malabon and of course, their authentic bibingka!!!! the place is small, but most of their customers have their food togo, that's why I don't have problem getting a table. The servers are nice! ”
“ Manila Sunset: A Marvelous Mission to a Tasty Thor-Approved Hole-in-the-Wall Assemble, Avenger's food enthusiasts! Our latest mission led us to Manila Sunset, the hidden gem (or secret, seventh Infinity Stone) in our quest for the best Filipino take-out in the area. Like a Marvel crossover event, this spot brings together a mix of flavors and experiences that would impress even the most seasoned Avengers and X-Men. Calling Captain American and Cyclops for a classic Marvel Team-Up comic collaboration! "Avengers...Assemble!" and "To me, my X-Men!" for a culinary concerted campaign! Food Manila Sunset is our X-Mansion, a fortress of flavor where we frequently embark on delicious adventures. Our absolute favorites are the pork and chicken skewers. These skewers, ordered à la carte, are our Infinity Stones of flavor, and we often order trays of them to create our own gauntlet of taste. The Lumpia Shanghai, small meat-filled eggrolls, pack a punch like Wolverine's adamantium claws--small but mighty. And let's not forget the Pancit Malabon, a refreshing noodle dish that brings a burst of flavor akin to a lightning strike from Thor's Mjolnir. While these dishes are our top picks, there are many other hidden treasures on the menu worth exploring--like the Watcher traversing the Marvel Multiverse... Ambiance: Manila Sunset operates more like a S.H.I.E.L.D. base than a fancy restaurant. With limited seating, it's designed for quick missions and takeouts rather than a lengthy dining experience. Don't expect the grandeur of Stark Tower or even a cozy X-Mansion setting. It's an old hole in the wall, much like the secret lairs where heroes plan their next moves. But remember, it's not about the decor--it's about the food! So suit up, place your order, and be prepared to wait 15 to 25 minutes for your meal. If you're prepared, line Professor x, then call ahead. Although the only downside is that they don't pick up the phone literally half the time. I literally have to let it ring or call back 2-3 times--with the persistence of Captain America. Maybe Professor X's telepathy would complement the telephone (well, and he'd even need Cerebro). Service: The friendly staff at the counter greet you with the warmth of Captain Marvel's glow, making you feel welcome. However, the phone service could use a boost from Tony Stark's tech--sometimes, it takes a few tries to get through. An app or online ordering system would be a game-changer, much like Black Panther's Vibranium tech, ensuring they don't miss out on potential business. Despite this minor hiccup, their friendly demeanor keeps us coming back, and we've been loyal for over a decade--a blip in Asgardian years. In conclusion, Manila Sunset is a marvelous take-out spot that combines the best of Filipino cuisine with the heart of a true Marvel adventure. Assemble your team, place your order, and enjoy the heroic flavors that await. And swing your cape to cover your chest, like a long bib to protect your costume as you nom on the yumminess. We'll definitely continue our culinary missions here, and you should too! ”
